yes I am a wake on a Saturday morning at some ridicuous hour. Except for me its a normal occurence, cherrypie will soon be doing the same thing and taking her bins (bound to be new ones) and new scope out birding - GUFFAW
Anyway I look out the window and there is a Goldfinch munching away on my feeder!! They are such pretty little birds.
Got to get up off to Kent this morning.

LOL - Nobody mentioned anything about early starts! Although I was actually up at 3.45am yesterday morning and sat in my Shed with the door and all the windows open, listening to the dawn chorus. I couldn't identify a thing but it was a fantastic sound.
I half planned on going to Gibraltar Point for the LWT event this morning ( it's National Dawn Chorus Day), but I'd have had to have driven straight from work last night and my feet ached too much.
