China has decided to ban the practice of striptease sendoffs at funerals. Apparently in China large crowds are seen as a sign of honour so the events are held to boost the attendance.

Good heavens. Thank goodness that tradition hasn't caught on in the Ukraine. It's still very much your traditional chanting, keening and incense wafting. Otherwise the extremely long ceremony might have passed somewhat quicker
