Bit parky

It was the coldest morning of the winter and I was strolling around the Lee Valley Country Park. I didn't go that far.

No Bitterns from the watchpoint but some VERY close Great Crested and Little Grebes. The hedgerows were full of common woodland birds. I got some VERY close up views of Blue Tits, they truly are pretty little birds but of course dismissed by many birders.

Spent the afternoon reading! I want to finish this darn book! Getting there

We had our coldest day on Saturday, bitter it was, but at least it was dry for a few hours. Yesterday was the wettest I think. It now hasn't stopped lashing down with rain for over 36 hours.
