And so I went on to Berrington Hall. Its a nice "small" house. Everything is very classical and cube like except for one oval room which is a bit of surprise when you walk in. Lovely staircase.
When I came out of the house it was raining even harder. So I gave up went back to the hotel and read and had a nice hot cup of tea. How terribly British!
