Sunday Sunday

Well I had a lay in! well i woke at 6:30 took my cereal back to bed and had a read. The tele the folks have upstairs has no remote (its OLD!) and since mum can't walk I went to Tesco to get them a nice flat screen telly with remote and a cordless phone.

After lunch I went down Rye Meads and took some photos.

Little Grebe with fish.

There's a lot of that green stuff on ponds these days. It looks awful to me - but the ducks don't seem to mind.

Kaz - must make it hard for birds like Kingfishers!

Is that a yellow-crowned night heron? I've got the black-crowned fishing from a fallen tree, every day in the backyard and quite often a green heron, great blue and bittern, as well. Great bees - we have bumbles, but honeybees are very scarce this year. Are yours on Clethra?

Debs - they are Grey Herons. Haven't got a clue what the bees are on. Seem to be plenty of Honey Bees over here but I have read about the problems over there.
