You may be aware of plans for the fledgling British Space industry and talk of unmanned lunar exploration.
I have just listened to some bloke phone into to say that this is a complete waste of money and that we should spend the mone back in on planet earth. Perhaps for things like cancer which is killing his dad.
well I am sorry for his Dad I certainly know how painful that is but the bloke is TOTALLY missing the point. One Man is an inquisitive creature we need to explore, two space research has thrown up lots of benefits in ways never expected, three I presume he will not be going on holiday, watching the football etc all money should be going on serious sensible things.
Puhlease get real
