St Andrews, Greenstead

The weather is horrid. Its wet, grey and windy.

But never let it be said that I dont care about my readers.

St Andrews Greenstead in Essex is a very old building. There is archaelogical evidence for a church on the site since the 7th century. The present church has a wooden nave and at one point was dated to 845, however recent dendrochronological dating dates the church to 1053.
