Great Tit nesting in "Ash tray"

A pair of Great Tits have built a nest in a cigarette bin.

The bin can be found at the RSPB's Vane Farm nature reserve at Loch Vane. A visitor noted a Great Tit flying out of the bin and alerted staff so that a sign could be put up to stop the bin being used. There are about 4 babies in the nest.

Any why I'm here can I point you to this story of a Common Gull nesting on a grassed section of pavement outside the offices of Amec in Wellington Circle. The nest has two eggs in it.
