He watched me and I watched him
I was driving to work this morning when I noticed one had something on the end. As I approached I realised it was a Little Owl - YAY! As I passed we both watched the other go.
What a great way to start the day. Speaking of which....
There seem to be little owls everywhere at the moment. Great to see one in the morning in the light. I went to a "Raptor" training evening last week at our local Dorset Wildlife Trust in Dorchester. The guy leading the training gave me a lift back to Corfe Mullen. Driving back we happened to go past two little owls on posts (my first ever), had another owl do a kamikaze swoop in front of us (not sure what it was) and spot a nightjar as we got out the car. Not a bad evenings bird spotting! Jane
