Walking Miss Ducky

I did enjoy this story.

A parking attendant in Middlesborough found a family of ducklings stranded in a car park. Ken O'Keefe escorted the mother duck and six ducklings the 250 yards from the civic centre car park to the pond in Millennium Square in the town.

Aaww - that's so cute!

Same happened at Kingston Uni when I was there - every year a family would nest in a fully enclosed quadrangle - every year the caretakers would escort them across two very busy main roads to - the River Thames!

Nice to know that there are some good people around. Lovely.

Similar to the story from the USA that I saw last week, lovely that people do still care.
