As I walked to the path to one of the hides the clouds departed and the sun blazed out!
I was rather pleased to see a male and female Goldeneye and a lovely female Smew. (record shot)
Other birds seen? Siskin and Water Rail (oh and the usual ducks and gulls). The Siskins were with a big tit flock.
the next two are almost identical and are for Trish.

I thought I'd found a moth on one of the photos :) But on reflection I think its probably a caddis fly. Great post Pete with some lovely photos :)
