I was strolling from South Quay station on the DLR this morning when I heard a bird call. The call was a familiar but not one I expected to hear in Docklands in October!!
Yes folks when I looked right there was juvenile Great Crested Grebe calling to its parent! The parent was nearby.
Nice one!

nice... there was one still at Warnham last week... seems late in the year for them to be about..
