Gardens of Easton Lodge

I wasn't sure where to go today but when I found the M11 had an 1.5 hour delay between J8 and J9 my choice was obvious as it was open day at the Gardens of Easton Lodge.

The house was destroyed by fire and the gardens fell in to disrepair...... today they are being slowly repaired and it is interesting to see the changes year on year.....

First time you've been able to walk into the Italianate garden.

 This is the first time you could even getting into the old walled garden.
