Cotswolds Villages and Charlecote Park

The sun disappeared this morning. I headed to Bourton on the Water. Bourton is obviously picturesque and is fully of touristy shops! Either tea shops or gift shops generally!

Last time I was there Trish lost her phone.... so Mr Quacks had to try and and find it... :)

Someone had been feeding!

No sign of the phone!

Nicely sated juvenile.

Lower Slaughter is different, it has the river but other than two expensive hotels there is one tea room...

Stow On the Wold has its tourist shops but also has proper shops including speciality food shops.... CHEESE!!!

And so I headed to Charlecote Park. Home of the Lucy family and where Shakespeare allegedly poached deer.

So I headed for lunch and as we arrived at the tea room......

I'm appalled at this National Trust anti duck stance!!! LOL

I was walking in the park when this came over!

Hello landing!!

Alas it was an Air Ambulance that meant someone was unwell :( I know they were moving on the stretcher so hope they are ok.

It does look incongruous to see a helicopter against Tudor architecture

lol re: the duck sign :) Great photos again. I like the Slaughters - saw my last water vole in the stream at one of them years and years ago. Have been to the cheese shop in Stow - great selection of cheeses there.
