Bateman's

I left this home this morning and headed south to Bateman's the home of the writer Rudyard Kipling.

Bateman's is not a great house but it is an interesting one and it has a pretty little garden. Alas I arrived to a very misty morning.

First thing? A scone! And it was straight out of the oven :)
