Hutton in the Forest and 2 churches

845 St Michael's, Torpenhoe









So on to Hutton in the Forest which has its origin as a Peel tower..... you can see the evolution from the outside!! Georgian facade and Victorian tower.

































No pics inside.... you visit by guided tour. The guide was Nancy who was very good.

and the last Cumbrian Church on my list!!!

Love those churches especially the last one. Stone faces are great and are those fossils in the font??? Can't get photo big enough even when I click on it to see.

Gardens looks lovely too.

Have you bought a new "cuddly" or did the cute bear belong to the church?

Never noticed fossils, I'll check later. The bear was already there.... Was tempted :)
