Day 6 - Modena

And so we got the short train journey to the city of Bologna which you will probably know of as it is famous for Balsamic Vinegar.


The Piazza Roma

which is home to the old Ducal Palace which is now a military academy.

The Duomo

We headed into the Piazza XX Septembre for a coffee and as I was about to take this photo I spotted the little boy was standing on a DUCK!!! Outraged Mr Quacks sat on his head.

The church of San Pietro

After lunch we headed off towards the Ducal Garden

There was a small pond which was devoid of life but suddenly!!!

As it started to rain we headed back to the train station.
